Present vacant positions are:
1. Position - Internet Marketing Executive (Level1). Code IME-1 - Posted on 11th September 2007.
Candidate is to be preferably a female.
Responsibilities :
- We need an Internet marketing Executive.
- The work profile would require the individual to promote our website http://www.ascenttelecom.com, on internet, utilizing various tools and techniques of internet marketing.
- The few of the known tools and techniques to be used would involve:
- SEO (in which we are as it is doing very well regularly),
- Forum participation - There are specific forums pertaining to our focused area of VoIP. We would seek to increase our participation in forums by making regular postings.
- Directory Listings - We would increase our presence in various online directories and by posting our descriptions.
- White Paper Posting - Posting the designated material to various specific white paper forums, community spaces, websites and newsgroups
- Mailer - Sending regular mailers to our designated database of individuals. This is not cold sending of mailer rather this database is of authentic list of companies that we are in touch with and might be seeking our revised & renewed offerings.
- Cross-Linking - Making tie-ups on the internet with various other relevant websites whereby we can put our hyperlink and put their link on our website for cross-promotion.
- Advertisement - Whenever required, we would put our website and description as advertisement in various sponsor list of relevant websites.
- Press Releases - Posting press-releases to various news websites pertaining to our domain.
- Newsletter - At a later stage a regular newsletter (like mailer) would be made to put on our website and would also be sent.
- The office timings would be from morning 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and the job does not involve any traveling. Working days would be Monday to Friday.
- The primary objective of the whole profile is to increase the visibility of our company to our potential customers and in-turn increasing the number of quality leads.
Skills Required - Knowledge of Internet Usage like performing search and browsing, Command over English Language, Continuous Learning & aggressive Attitude, Open to explore new ways and methods to achieve the desired objective.
Training- Candidate would be given due training before expecting any results.
Domain - Marketing, Sales, Research
Experience - Either Fresher or candidates up to 3 years experience (candidate may have experience in marketing, sales, internet marketing, research etc related fields).

- Software development.
Skills Required - VC++ programming on multimedia, VOIP, RTP
Domain - Media processing, VOIP, Codec integration
Experience - Minimum 3 years experience of programming in above mentioned skill set and area.

3. Position - Support Engineer (Entry level or Trainee. Code SE-T)
Responsibilities :
- Understanding problem description from staff or directly from customers.
- Problem analysis and solution.
Skills required - VOIP basics, Linux or windows administration knowledge, Problem solving approach.
Experience - Minimum 3 years experience of programming in above mentioned skill set and area
