Callshops are the public booths where callers can walk, make a call and pay the money. Callshops are very prevalent in various parts of the world and also called by various names like Cafes, Cyber cafes, Public Booths, Calling Booths, ISD/STD/PCO, Calling Shops, Internet Shops, Calling Centers, Telecenters etc. Callshop booths have standard IP Device that is connected to the telephone instrument and is configured with the Softswitch Server in order to provide dial tone. Normally, the caller walks in the callshop and picks the receiver of the telephone connected to the IP Device and on hearing the dial tone he dials the destination number. The system connects the call and keeps a track of the call and generates the CDR after the call is disconnected.
